ARTICLE 1: ACCEPTANCE AND MODIFICATION OF THE GENERAL TERMS OF USE
The General Terms of Use of the Platform (hereinafter the "GTU") are intended to define the conditions of access and use of the Platform and its Services. Any use of the Platform and Services implies the prior, express and unreserved acceptance of the GTU by the User. The User is informed and acknowledges that by clicking, when creating their Customer Account, on the "Register" button preceded by the words "I have read and accept the General Terms of Use", they are bound by all the provisions of the GTU. La regence reserves the right, at any time, to refuse access to the Platform, unilaterally and without prior notification, to any User who does not comply with these GTU. The User is informed that the GTU of the Platform may be modified at any time, unilaterally by La regence, notably to comply with any changes to its Services or any legal, jurisprudential, editorial and/or technical developments. La regence undertakes to inform the User of changes made to the Services and/or the GTU by email or by means of a special notice displayed within the Platform. The GTU applicable to each Order placed within the Platform are those accessible online at the time of acceptance of the Order by the User and attached to the Order confirmation email received by the Buyer.
The User is reminded that it is their responsibility to consult the latest version of the GTU accessible on each page of the Platform before placing any new Order.

ARTICLE 3 – CONDITIONS AND TERMS OF ACCESS TO THE
PLATFORM
3.1. General Information
The Platform is accessible free of charge to all Users at the address "www.laregencelille.com". The User must have internet access. All software and hardware necessary for the use and operation of the Platform's Services, or internet access, are the responsibility of the User. The User is solely responsible for the proper functioning of their computer equipment and internet access.
The purchase of Products is subject to payment in accordance with the article
"financial provisions" of these GTU of the Platform.
Any User may access, consult or use all or part of the Platform. Any User may also subscribe to La regence's newsletter.
To purchase Products on the Platform, the User must be:
a natural person, aged 18 or over and, more generally, with the capacity to contract; a legal entity, whose authorized representative must provide: valid identification information (name / surname), company name, SIRET or identification number, registered office address, telephone number and email address.
ARTICLE 4: ESSENTIAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE GOODS
AND SERVICES OFFERED
The products offered on the La regence website, the distance selling of which is governed by these general terms and conditions of sale, have the following essential characteristics:
● Products concerned: the name, components, weight, quantity, color, as well as specific features are specified for each product on the La regence website. All these elements are included when the order is placed by the buyer. In any event, the presentation photos of the products offered on the La regence website are not contractual and cannot engage the seller's liability towards the buyer.
Buyers are drawn to the fact that the illustrations of the items presented may be subject to magnification, and that the mention of a magnification scale is impossible, as the internet buyer is solely in control of the electronic image.
Availability of the good or service: the products presented on the La regence website, the distance selling of which is governed by these general terms and conditions of sale, are available as long as the product concerned appears on the La regence website. In the event that, independently of our will, a chosen item is unavailable, an unavailability notification will be sent to you by e-mail as soon as possible. You may then modify your choice if you wish.
ARTICLE 4: DURATION OF THE OFFER
The sales offers contained on the La regence website, governed by these general terms and conditions of sale, are valid for any product contained on the site as long as it remains online.
ARTICLE 5: SALE PRICE AND PAYMENT TERMS
The selling prices of the Products on the Platform are indicated in euros, all taxes included, but do not include delivery costs, which will be indicated to the User during the purchase process, before final validation of their Order. Delivery is free throughout the site for the following destinations: Metropolitan France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, United Kingdom, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden.
For the rest of the world, shipping costs apply and customs duties and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer. Delivery is not possible to the United Kingdom. The Buyer pays for their Orders directly to La regence, according to the payment methods available on the Platform. Any Order from a Buyer who has not paid for a previous Order in full or in part, or with whom a payment dispute is ongoing, may be refused.
ARTICLE 6: INVOICING
For each Product sale, the Buyer will be able to access their invoice which will be:
- either included in the delivery package,
- or sent by email to the Buyer upon confirmation of their
Order,
- or sent by email upon request.
In the case of delivery outside metropolitan France, the provisions of the General Tax Code relating to VAT are applicable. The Order will then be subject to customs duties and possible taxes, for which La Régence will not be responsible or in charge of the modalities.
ARTICLE 7: WITHDRAWAL PERIOD AND CONDITIONS
For online purchases on the La regence website, the Buyer has a period of fourteen (14) calendar days from the day of Product delivery to exercise their right of withdrawal without having to justify reasons or pay penalties. Return costs are borne by La regence. Once the withdrawal request has been made, the Buyer has a maximum of fourteen (14) calendar days to return the product(s) to the Seller. Jewelry must be unworn, in its original condition, and without any traces or marks. Jewelry that has been personalized or modified (engraving, resizing, etc.) is not eligible and cannot be returned under this framework. Similarly, purchases made directly in-store are not eligible for withdrawal.
ARTICLE 8: DELIVERY OF PRODUCTS
8.1. Delivery costs
Delivery costs are offered by La régence for all deliveries to the following destinations: Metropolitan France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Croatia, Denmark, Spain, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Czech Republic, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Sweden. Shipping costs apply for destinations outside these zones for baskets under €1000, they are calculated before payment. Taxes and customs duties are the responsibility of the Buyer.
8.2. Delivery methods
The Buyer is informed that the Products can only be delivered to them if:
- the Seller offers delivery to the destination country indicated in the delivery address by the Buyer when placing their
Order;
- the Buyer has a valid delivery address in the destination country indicated in the delivery address by the Buyer when placing their Order;
or, if they are able to collect the Products, by their own
means, from a Seller located in metropolitan France. The Products are delivered by the Seller to the address indicated by the Buyer when placing their Order.
8.3. Receipt of Products
The Buyer must check the condition of the Products upon receipt in order to confirm their conformity with the Order. When verification of the Product is possible at the time of delivery, the Buyer must immediately make reservations about the condition of the package and the Product, with the carrier if the Product or its packaging has been damaged during transport.
8.4. Delay/absence of delivery
In the event of delay, total or partial non-receipt of the Product(s) ordered, the Buyer is invited to contact La régence from the agreed delivery date to resolve the problem.
8.5. Product returned to the Seller
If a Product is returned to the Seller for a reason such as "unclaimed" or "does not live at the indicated address": the Buyer is reimbursed for the price of their Order (excluding Product return costs); and/or
– with the agreement of the Buyer and the Seller, the Product is re-shipped to the Buyer with payment of the corresponding costs (Product return costs and re-shipping costs). After a period of one month without news from the Buyer, the Products will no longer be shipped, without this giving rise to reimbursement, exchange or compensation.
ARTICLE 9: PERSONAL INFORMATION
In accordance with Law No. 78-17 of January 6, 1978, relating to data processing, files, and freedoms, the buyer has the right to access and rectify their data at any time. In this case, they must send their request to:

Regarding the information communicated for payment by credit card, the seller guarantees the buyer that it is not kept by him or by the La regence website after the buyer has settled their order, with the exception of the amount thereof.
ARTICLE 10: INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
Unless otherwise stated, all texts, comments, works, illustrations and images reproduced on La regence are reserved under copyright and intellectual property rights worldwide. As such, and in accordance with the provisions of the Intellectual Property Code, only private use is authorized, subject to different or more restrictive provisions of the Intellectual Property Code. Any total or partial reproduction of the Laregence website is strictly prohibited.
Certain products, such as software, are subject to personal and specific usage rights regulating copying, public dissemination, and rental. You must comply with the general terms and conditions of sale for these products, and La regence cannot be held responsible for the uses that may be made of the products in this context.
ARTICLE 11: APPLICABLE LAW
This contract is subject to French law, and notably to articles L. 121 16 to L. 121-20 of the Consumer Code.
ARTICLE 12: DISPUTE RESOLUTION
In the event of a dispute, the buyer will primarily contact the seller to agree on an amicable solution. It is nevertheless specified that the search for an amicable solution does not interrupt the time limits for acting in warranty. The fact that the seller does not avail himself of a breach of any of the obligations incumbent on the buyer, governed by these general terms and conditions of sale, shall not be interpreted as a waiver for the future of the obligation in question, nor of the buyer's right to subsequently avail himself of this breach. In the event of legal proceedings, only the court of LILLE has jurisdiction.
